Jean Grae is a multihyphenate artist whose work integrates music, comedy, and visual media. In addition to musical collaborations with The Roots, Talib Kweli, and Robert Glasper, the critically acclaimed performer, director, soundtrack composer, and writer has released nearly two dozen self-produced and engineered independent albums; her work is even archived in The Yale Anthology of Rap and the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and Culture.

Grae has been Keynote Speaker at Hip-Hop Week Montreal and lecturer at such institutions as Yale, Princeton, Columbia and the Kennedy Performing Arts Center. Additional appearances include NPR, 2 Broke Girls, Comedy Central, MSNBC, Vice, BET’s Hip Hop Awards, hit podcast Welcome to Night Vale and the Deadpool comic book, where she punched the titular antihero in the face.

Currently channeling her broad skill set and envelope-pushing experiences into genre-bending live ventures Church of the Infinite You, Dubbled Over and The Show Show, Grae continues defying boundaries and delivering funny, moving, inspirational experiences to audiences via earbuds, the stage, and screens both big and small.
