JAMES CHANCE & THE CONTORTIONS

OFFICIAL SITE

Combining James Brown funk, Iggy Pop attitude, and skronky post-Albert Ayler saxophone brutality, James Chance defiantly punched the CBGB and Max’s Kansas City punk scene in the face in the late 1970s, fathering the dance punk and no wave genres while making some of the most widely influential music in the process. James brings his exciting live show back with cast of downtown all stars!
